When we make a custom, hand built website, we don’t just throw in tonnes of plugins and code just for the sake of it.  We optimise heavily around page load speed, which helps in google rankings and to keep visitors on your site for longer, would you stay on a website that took forever to load?

WP-Content Size (Images, Plugins & Themes):

  • New Site: 99.2MB
  • Old Site: 969MB

Nearly 1/10th of the original size.

WordPress Theme Size

  • New Site Theme: 1.14MB – 78 Files
  • Old Site Theme: 21.2MB – 1,127 Files

Our hand made theme is 18.6x smaller than the old one, in fact the new WordPress Website Theme would fit on a floppy disk - That makes for a super fast website load speed!
